The Friendly Songs BOD program (or FSBOD for short) is used by our dealers that produce our Premium Products in the store for their customers.
We just released a bunch of new features FSBOD program. This update is Free to all dealers who have a license to the FSBOD version 2+ software.
Here are some of the new features that come with the current FSBOD program:
- Updated CD burning capabilities.
- Enhanced Installer and Updater capabilities.
- Enhanced Name List or Pronunciation List Search features.
- The Name Lists now have larger font sizes for high resolution monitors.
- Enhanced Lyrics Printing to either printer or PDF.
- Lyrics now also include Album and Child's name in the Header and Dealer Contact Info in the Footer.
- Improved CD Label and Lyrics Print Settings.
- We've added the ability to Print directly to the CD face (with compatible printers). No more paper labels.
- Enhanced Admin and Burner Password Control for dealers in Retail Stores.
- Enhanced Album Selection features allow you to increase the size of the album images for high resolution monitors.
- Enhanced Status Feedback Messaging.

The music iFrame for BOD dealers allows your customers to hear their child's name in the music before they purchase a CD.
We just released a bunch of new features to the music iFrame tool. This update is Free to all dealers who've purchased a music iFrame.
Here are some of the new features that come with the iFrame tool:
- New Admin Panel home page that allows you to set "Default iFrame Settings".
- Previous iFrames will retain their current settings.
- Any new iFrames you create will use the new default settings which significantly speeds up the time required to create a new music iFrame.
- You can now turn off specific albums for the Stuffed Animals if you don't want to offer all the tracks.
- We've improved the music iFrame navigation to make it easier for the customers.
- On single album iFrames the customer is automatically taken to the music player page after selecting the pronunciation.
- The music player page has been enhanced with new player controls and formatting.

We've begun test marketing something that no other competitor has that will be a huge game changer for our dealers. If you've been a dealer for a while you have heard this questions "I've got two kids and I'm always having to switch out their CDs so they take turns listening to their music. Can you make me one CD with both children's names in the music?".
Up till now the answer has been no, but that answer is soon to change. We will be releasing before the end of the year a free software update for all Version 2 dealers that will allow you to make a Double CD. You can produce a Double CD with any two names and select any two CDs, or one name and two CDs, or even two names and the same CD for both names. Then decide how the tracks are mixed up on the CD so the variety allows for the songs to alternate for each child. Then burn that CD for your customer.
This will be a great new feature that we've been working on since the first of this year when we first developed the new BOD V2 software. We should be able to get this feature out to you before Christmas. As long as you just update your software as normal, the new feature will be available automatically for you when it is released at no additional cost to you. Stay tuned for this and other great new features.

The new BOD V2 software release started shipping to rave reviews. It contains lots of great new features, support for more albums, a ton of new names, full length song sound modules, custom name technology.... the list is endless.

In preparation for shipping the new BOD software release we sent out a complete package of information to all registered dealers. Please look for it to arrive in your mail box during the first week of February 2011.
This package includes details about the new BOD software release and some of the new features you will find when you upgrade your software. It also includes an update form.
We need all dealers to fill out the form included with this package and mail it back to us to be eligible for the new software update. Or you can update your information on-line by clicking Here.
If you previously updated your information you will need to fill out the form again. This will make sure we have your most current address. We also need some information from your security key that was not included in the previous form.

No April Fools Here! Many exciting changes are afoot for Friendly Songs dealers. New Software, New Albums, New Product Lines are all being released to current dealers 2nd quarter 2010. Current dealers will be offered exclusive discounted upgrades. We will announce more details soon!

Friendly Songs is purchased by KMConsolidated, LLC, a leader in the Personalized Products Business for over 10 years. KMConsolidated is investing heavily in expansion plans for the Friendly Songs brand.
Once the transition is completed dealers will see new products, more names, and enhanced support. Some of the new software and products have been in beta-test with a few dealers for a few months now. We are getting great reports from our software development team and the test dealers that the new software is going to be tremendous, far surpassing anything currently available.
